Your sign to invest in your dream hair. That is how the salon put it, and it holds up — Baciami hair extensions giving flawless results as always, with the luxury finish we all love.
Extensions are the one service that changes what is possible rather than just improving what is already there. Colour and cutting work with the hair you have. A set adds to it: length where there was none, weight where the hair was fine, and a shape that finally falls the way you pictured it in your head.
The look: length, weight and a luxury finish
Baciami is the line we fit for clients who want the ends to read as their own hair, only longer and fuller. The look most people bring in is a soft, continuous line from the shoulders down, with no blunt shelf where the natural hair stops and the extensions start.
What makes a set look expensive is not the length. It is the match. The extension hair has to sit in the same tone as yours, take the light the same way and move when you turn your head. Get that right and nobody picks it. Get it wrong and the set looks like a set from across the room.
Fine hair gets the most out of extensions, and so does hair that has been lightened for years and has thinned through the ends. If your goal is a longer, heavier shape you have never quite been able to grow, this is the honest way to get there.
How a Baciami set is built
It starts with a consultation in the chair, not a photo on a screen. We look at your natural density, the condition of the mid-lengths and ends, the shape of your face and how you actually wear your hair — up most days, or down and blow-dried. That decides the length, the volume and where the set needs weight.
Colour matching comes next. Extension hair and natural hair rarely behave identically under salon light, so we check the tone against your own hair in daylight as well as under the mirror lights, and adjust the blend if it needs it. If your colour is due, we plan the appointment order so the two jobs work together instead of fighting each other.
Then the fitting, section by section, working with the natural fall of your hair so the attachments sit flat and stay hidden. Once the set is in, it gets cut. This is the part people underestimate. Extension hair arrives long and even, and it only becomes your haircut once it has been layered and blended into your own ends. A good blending cut is what stops a set looking like a curtain.
We finish with a blow-dry and a check in the mirror at every angle, including the back, because that is the view you live with. All of this sits inside the usual salon services, so you can read more about what we do on The Salon page.
Keeping it right between visits
Extensions are hair, so they are treated like hair. Brush from the ends upward with a looped or soft-bristle brush, hold the roots when you brush so you are not pulling on the attachments, and keep heat to a sensible level. Sulfate-heavy shampoo will shorten the life of any set, so a gentler wash and a light leave-in are worth the shelf space.
- Brush morning and night, ends first, roots held.
- Wash less often than you think, and always with a gentle shampoo.
- Dry the attachments properly — damp bonds are unhappy bonds.
- Book a movement appointment before the set starts to feel loose, not after.
Movement appointments are the quiet maintenance that keeps a set looking new. We check the attachments, move or retip what needs it, and re-blend the ends if your own hair has grown. Ask at the chair what interval suits your hair and your routine — it varies from client to client.
If you are not sure a set is right for you, say so at the consultation. Our standards are simple: the same stylist from consultation to finish, and an honest answer rather than a sale. If a different approach would serve your hair better, we will tell you. Prices for extension work depend on length and volume, so have a look at our pricing and then ask us to quote your own set.
