IYKYK. If you know, you know — and honestly, that is the whole caption. Three letters and a handful of emoji, and the reel does the rest.
We usually post finished work with the details spelled out: the shade, the technique, the stylist who did it. This one is different. It is the kind of clip that only needs to land with the people who have sat in the chair before and know exactly what they are looking at.
Some things are easier to show
A photo flattens hair. Movement, shine, the way a colour sits under the salon lights — none of that photographs the way it looks in person. That is usually why we film. A short reel is the closest thing to standing beside the chair while the work is happening, and the payoff moment, the turn towards the mirror, is the part people replay.
Nails and skin are the same story. A gel set with a proper shape and a clean finish reads better in motion than in a still, and a clinic result is about texture and tone as much as anything you can see in a single frame.
The part that never makes the caption
Behind any clip like this is a consultation. A real one, sitting down, talking through what you want, what your hair has had done to it before, and how much time you are prepared to spend on it at home. That conversation is where the result is actually decided. It is also where we tell you honestly if something will not happen in one visit, and what the plan looks like instead. You can read more about how we run things on our about page.
If the reel has you thinking about colour, the salon covers cutting and colouring on Wella Professionals and Goldwell, balayage, foils, full-head colour, colour correction and creative colour. If it is a set of nails or a clinic treatment that caught your eye, the clinic looks after skin, waxing, lashes and brows.
If you don’t know, ask
Not everyone is meant to get the reference, and that is fine. If you saw the reel and want to know what it would take to get there on your own hair, book a consultation and we will talk it through — no guessing, no pressure, no promising something your hair cannot hold. Cost depends on length, density and how much product goes into it, so we would rather quote properly in person than over the phone. Our pricing page gives you the general picture before you come in.
